Its a nice Saturday morning and none of my friends are up to play Golf. I dont want to go by myself because I'm not that great and I dont want to be paired up someone who's going to be sitting around waiting for me. I need to find a Golf partner who's addicted like me and wants to go all of the time, plus we can talk about BMWs if anything. :D

i'm not really that good (shoot abotu 100) but i love to play... i'd be up for it with more notice....

Well, at this point you're still better than me. I've only been to 3 different courses but I hit the driving range a few times a week. I think I'm getting better though.

I'll definitely let you know ahead of time and maybe we can go play a round. I've only been to a handful of courses around where I live, so if you know of a nice course near you, I'm down.

at lewisville they have a 9-hole par-3 course.. it's pretty fun and great practice for noobs like us... i think one or two holes are par-4 but the rest are 3's... and it's not all that expensive either...

Ah yes, the driving is usually not the hardest part, its those damn irons. My neighbor bought these soft golf balls that you can practice with at home so we were hitting those down the street yesterday evening.

Looks like we have quite a few golfers on here. I play quite a bit myself and would like to see us all get together at a centrally located golf course and fill up the parking lot with bimmers and then play a round and perhaps afterward go for a drink/food/cigar or whatever is desired.
Keep us posted about when you might want to do something like that.

Well I shot a 105 yesterday afternoon at Prairie Lakes. I'm pretty happy about that considering I shot a 123 last week at Mansfield National. My neighbor came over at the last minute and invited me or else I would have posted about it for everyone else to come out. He shot a 77 by the way:eek:...new record for him.

We have a tee time setup for 7am tomorrow morning at Prairie Lakes if anyone wants to make the trip and join...let me know.:)
