Like I said, I just moved here and got a seat belt ticket a couple of days ago.
When the tropper aproched my car, I made sure both my windows were in their down position, you see I have 20% tint all round and wasn't sure what's the limit.
On my drive here last week, I got pulled in Geogia and the tropper gave me a citation because my windows were too dark, he pulled out his high-tech ultra-fancy light transmitter thing-a-ma-jiggy and said my tint was letting thru 14%, well there goes $75.
So now I'm getting kinda worried about my tint, but then again I see cars with tint just as dark as mine...maybe they get pulled over just as often as I do:D
P.S. Oh yeah, it probably doesn't help that my I have a black car with black wheels and black tails and black tint and a black license plate cover...do you think :devillook

Yep, and it's important to note that TX specs the 25% transmittance as the total transmittance through both glass AND film. So 30% film is the limit.

I just got my car done this weekend with 30% on all the side windows, and 15% on the back. It's not that obvious that the back is darker, and it does keep a lot more heat out.

I have 20% on the sides limo in the back, haven't had any problems. A friend has double limo on his m3, which I think is ridiculous.

i had 5% all around on the camaro and i could never see behind me at night.. it was insane..

I and the wife have 20% all around.

I love the tint.. but yeah backing up at night sucks the big one.

This 15% is pretty dark, but perfectly doable even at night. I just hope I don't have to back up anywhere that's dark as hell.
