Is there a s/c available for my 02 330ci with an auto? It has 82k on it, and not sure if it's a good idea to look for a supercharger for it. Is it really bad on the bmw auto's to have that much of a gain in hp?

yea it is not good for a slushbox. i think both VFE and AA might have application for e46 330ci. but put aside some money to deal with the tranny issue that will be forthcoming. good luck!

A CF blown car needs high revs to make the boost and ultimately horsepower, so an auto S/C car is probably the least ideal thing you can do unless using twin screw or roots blowers.

Supercharged autos are fun. From personal experience keep the boost low (stage 1 kit is fine), and there will be less power created than a manual due to power loss from the auto trans.

Increased boost may cause the torque converter to slip (similar to a manual clutch slipping) but this is not commmon.

I have been dealing with the 3.0 engine , VF and autos for about 2 years now. If you have any question I'd bre happy and try to answer them. :)
