Other than they are practice times and don't mean a thing?

mean a thing or dont mean a thing...Ralf has to step up his game BIG time. His contract is in danger of being shrunk in value, or actually im pretty sure his paycut will be substantial and either way he needs to perform.

Button didn't drive in P2. He was complaining about his back and Christian Klien was driving his car.

Don't, it's just a time for the constructors to test out different setups. If one team is testing a low fuel setup and another team is testing a high fuel setup the team with the less weight will be faster. Does this mean that team will be faster in the race, who knows. Qualifying times are the only times that you can directly compare, and even then you don't know what race strategy the team is running they could still be heavy or light on fuel. Take Scott Speed's France practice time, third overall but qualified fifteenth.

I think the best we can get with the current set up is Q2. The times are a fairly accurate representation of pace.

Of course. I was directing my post at the overall lack of performance of Ralf. His contract will be renewed but amist a paycut, how large who knows but it is time for one of F1's most paid drivers to deliver

RSC managed to pull off a P6 starting slot. Not too shabby. Somehow I see him taking out half the field in T1 at the start, though. ;)
