I think the OP meant tire (not wire) width. A 205 series tire is probably on one of the "cheaper" 1 series like a 123d or something with 16" wheels. All those photos you have seen are the European model. When the 1 series hits the US, we should get 16" wheels standard on the 128i; 17" with the sport package. The 135i will come with 18" wheels standard (135i is said to include the sport package from the factory).

Oh, OK. The 135i will have 215x40-18 front and 245x35-18 rear. Don't know about the 128i.

I'm guessing its gonna have a z4 setup, unless mikeo knows something...... so 225 18 up front, and 255 on rear

I've heard 255 rear, so I'm assuming a 8.5" wheel. Fronts will probably be a 7.5" wheel with 215 or 225.

Agreed. 215 is really wimpy for a front engine performance car. That and no LSD will kill the 135i in SCCA Solo stock class. It may do well in a Street Touring class against the Japanese boost buggies, but it will need a LSD upgrade to do so.

With enough pissing and moaning they may give us a performance model or ZHP with the LSD. But it would be hard to do much better than a regular 135i without totally killing 335 and/or M3 sales.

There should be plenty of aftermarket options. There's a 335 LSD already available for like $1100ish.

Yeah -- I saw the Vishnu 335i with the Quaife LSD and hoped a similar item would be available for the 135i. $1,100 seems resonable. Beyond that, and it seems like someone could do a custom job...

I saw it a month or so ago on one of these forums...I'll try and find it.

But $3400? Thats a bit of a curveball. Considering it would probably void the warranty, not sure if it's worth it. Turner is usually pretty high though. Maybe with time there will be a few options.
