Calm down son. I too am interested. By "hack job" I mean it looks like someone took a hacksaw to it and converted it to a 32x series application.

as previously stated it is a remus generic muffler that has had the connector/flanges added to fit up for an e36 2 pipe

Basically he is saying that if you want the exhaust to be louder keep the Remus and remove the resonators from the mid-pipe. That should give you the sound you are looking for.

ye. i realize that now and should revoke my previous insult. i need to stay even with the money tho so i cant spend the money to get the resonators cut out cus this guy i went to said he wants 200 to straight pipe that spot
