As the subject says, a good friend is actively searching for a '93-'95 (VANOS) 325i or 325is in the mid-atlantic for NASA TT duty and future GTS Challenge enjoyment. From his email:

-2 or 4 door is fine.
-Must be a 5-speed manual shift.
-Must be a VANOS '93-'95 325i or 325is (not looking for a 318 or a '92 325.)
-Do not care if A/C works.
-Condition of interior, shocks, brakes and tires not a concern.
-Car should be rust free.
-Title would be nice, but not required.
-Must have good engine and transmission.
-Enthusiast owned (typical E36 stuff already fixed) is a definite plus.

In case it is not clear my buddy is looking for a running, driving M50TU powered example that is stock or close to it. Cheaper is better but he'll pay fair market value for the right donor car on a case by case basis. We've looked at some real (Craigslist-sourced) rats lately and he is discouraged...

Max selling my old car? You should definitely buy it Jon! RRT re-did the entire suspension two years ago... sooo awesome for a 325.

It's not for me, it's for a good friend who is also a NASA-MA official & TT driver. Looks like an awesome car but it's out of his price range. :shifty
