As it states above did the 524td ever come with a manual transmission? If not is there any way to swap one in? I'm looking into getting an e28 and just doing some research on it so I appreciate anything anyone can tell me.
P.S. Are there any other good forums out there for the e28 5-series?

uh im not sure my guess is it probably was...if not then im pretty sure you could convert it...but im a total nooby at this stuff so im not totally sure

and yes they came with a manual atleast here in germany. not sure about the US version

US owners manual shows just an auto for the 524td

oh and a higher redline than the 528e hehehe
