Does anyone have the part no. for the most direct replacement universal Magnaflow muffler for a 525i?

Search yields nothing useful.

The pipes on a 525i are 1.77" in diameter, so you could go with any 2" dual-inlet exhaust, for safe measures. (Pretty sure of this... correct me if I'm wrong)

yep a 2'' should fit, my bro put in a magna in his 525 and all that the muffler shop did was fill in the gap during the welding process

I just took my 525 over to the muffler shop this morning. They gave me some crap about not being able to fit a magnaflow muffler. They also tried to get me to buy an OEM style exhaust system for $1200 (followed by my laughing in his face).

I Did a Resonator delete with a magnaflow deltaflow 50 and Y piped it into a 3" single and then Y piped it out the back with two stainless square magnaflow tips.
