New to the forum. I have a 1997 318 Sedan. I recently changed the bulbs for the odometer and it was fine for about a day, but it went out again. On occassion it will light up the bottom half so I can read the mileage and the trip.

Here is my question. If I were to replace the odometer with another used one, will my mileage stay? I have researched a few other post and I am getting conflicting information.

Is this vehicle an obdII and will it auto correct the mileage.

I also read about the pixel replacement from BMW NA, has that worked? Does it still work?

Any help would be great.

I see some used clusters on Ebay, and I am a little worried about replacing the cluster.
