Hello Board,

We have completed all R&D on our 335 exhaust and are ready to release. We have had a couple vehicles testing our exhaust including one in California and two local cars. We have gone through a couple different variations to get the tone right where we want it. The exhaust is made out of 304 stainless steel with 90 mm tips and an X pipe. After testing two different designs we concluded that the x pipe was a must. We will provide a short clip so you get the idea. We have already begun taking pre orders. We will be offering them at an introductory price for the entire month of July. There are also package prices available as well for the Active Autowerke 335 Exhaust and AA/Xede Package.

Power increases are ~12-15 rwhp on a stock car. With our programming we are noticing higher gains due to exhaust being less restrictive and X pipe (scavenging) design.

Active Autowerke Exhaust-
List Price $1650
July Introductory Price- $1485

Active Autowerke Programmed Xede- $1200 with free Valet Switch & Programming

Package Price for AA/Xede and Exhaust- $2550 for month of July only.

Sounds pretty good. Can you do an "in car" sound/video, I have watched some videos on here and the droning and rattle are way to intense.

I forgot to mention: Weight Savings:
Our exhaust weighs ~39 lbs compared to stock which is ~82.

That sounds good from the outside. What's it like on the inside? Not a la G35, I hope.

Where did you save all that weight?

And please get a video from in the car!

$1485 for a set of exhaust pipes/muffler????!!! You've GOT to be kidding! I know aftermarket parts for BMW are sometimes overpriced, but REALLY!

Most quality exhaust system for new cars are about $1100. More exotic material up to $2K.

This one might be slightly high on price, but remember this is dealer direct, if they have distributors they'd be foolish to undercut them.

If you guys haven't noticed the price for stainless steel has gone up a lot the past couple of years.

I can't see it. A full SS cat back system on a lowly Mustang is less than half that much, and I doubt there is twice the material used.

It's not cost based, it's market based. It's that much because that's what people will pay.

Exhausts for the Z were just as pricey for the big names. Borla was the cheapest big name, but their kit was about 8 pieces.

Some of the no-namers had them at about $600, but what you have to understand is that you pay for R&D, the cheaper ones are usually knock offs of the ones that did all the testing.

Will this fit the sedan or just the coupe? The sound is great, not much louder than stock, nice.

All parts are now in stock for the 335. Including BOV and Exhaust.

A late response but it'll fit both the Coupe and Exhaust. AA Exhaust systems replaces the secondary cats. Some exhaust systems like Borla only go after the secondary cats.

Any plans for a kit for the 328i?
Do the power gains warrant you guys producing one?

Not only does it sound good, but the 40# weight savings sounds great. Anything we can do to shave weight off these pigs is a huge benefit.
