Greetings. I'm looking for some advice on who to call regarding some repair I need done on the interior of my soft top. One of the "cords" that holds the covering tight against the moving parts on the side by the backseat has broken, so now the interior cover is flopping around.

From what I can tell, it is really only a piece of cord that needs to be replaced...a string really. The dealers (Motorwerks & Anderson) are quoting over $1000 to fix it, due to the piece I need being replaced only being sold as some sort of package, etc. This seems crazy to me..but it is what it is if that's the case. Either way, I believe the dealers send the car out for any work on the soft top to an outside vendor.

So, I'm looking to get in touch with somebody who specializes in the softtop work. I figure at worst case I can cut the dealer out on this one, or at best they might tell me the dealer is crazy.
