vdrm3 07-04-2007, 01:13 PM Hi, I just relocated to the Dallas area from North Carolina, I don't know many people out here yet, but I figure the only people to meet are bmw people. I'm a fairly easy-going guy that loves to talk cars and such, so if any bmw people wanna meet up sometime shoot me a pm:D
schneid4323 07-04-2007, 01:31 PM from NC? You a jew?
Jfive96 07-04-2007, 01:50 PM - -Welcome to the DFW. I'm in the Grand Prairie area and I have had my 98 528i for just under a month. Anytime you want to kick it I have plenty of car craved friends that like to get together. Hit me up anytime. Peace.- -

This forum is very entertaining....just be sure you take most things said here with a grain of salt. :)
vdrm3 07-04-2007, 02:08 PM Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm sure I'll enjoy this place with the amount of bimmerheads in the area.

i'll probably wait until this rain stops...almost 3 weeks of it, and i want to wash my car so bad
Jfive96 07-04-2007, 03:50 PM - -I hear you on that. My grass is almost as tall as I am. Got my car from mother in law and have yet to detail it like it should be.- -
luckytopher 07-04-2007, 03:54 PM where in NC? i go up at least once a year to visit my family... usually rent a car and go through the blue ridge..
vdrm3 07-05-2007, 01:03 AM I live in Charlotte. the Blue Rridge Parkway is a very nice scenic route, but if you really want to push your car may i suggest Deals Gap AKA the Dragon's Tail: 371 sharp, blind turns in 11 miles, it's absolutly awsome.
I run the Tail at least 3 times a summer on my bike, most fun you can have with your clothes on:D

Don't feel bad, I've owned a BMW for 7 years, just joined the forum last year, and have never met any of these people.
I know, I'm a bad person :(

You're still good, the ony way you become bad is my mingling with these Texas hooligans.
