View Full Version : props to Tom and EAS
mblaucoupe335 07-04-2007, 12:37 PM I just wanted to give some props to Tom and EAS for their outstanding customer service. Recently, I ordered a set of wheels and tires from him for my 335i Coupe. I had some fitments issues with the rear wheels, but Tom was willing to take the wheels back and promptly shipped me out another set that fit great. I don't know if a lot of companies would be willing to stand behind their products or their customers like this, so I thought it was wroth posting to encourage anyone who is looking for products for their Bimmer to make sure and check out EAS and talk to Tom. Their web site is http://www.europeanautosource.com/index.php.

fun2drive 07-04-2007, 02:46 PM Very Nice and I like there pricing too. What about your TPMS sensors? Did they install those too of did you just do without?
tom @ eas 07-05-2007, 05:12 PM Very nice, you can either transfer your old TPMS sensors over to the new wheels or purchase new ones from BMW if you wish to retain the system.
Otherwise, your dealer can deactivate the TPMS light.
gloster 07-05-2007, 05:36 PM Any trick to transferring the TPMS over? Can an amateur do it themselves?

It's inside the wheel, so the tire would have to be dismounted. Otherwise, it's a simple swap.

Looks really good. Just to let you know you're driving the car I wanted...I had to settle for Black Sapphire...love it.
Schnell325 07-05-2007, 07:10 PM The wheels look great on the car. :)

Tom's right, you can either swap your sensors from your old wheels to the new wheels, or buy another set. I actually just bought a set from Tire Rack and am going to have them installed in the wheels next week.

Thanks bro! Black Sapphire is pretty sweet too!
gloster 07-05-2007, 09:13 PM I'll probably order my winter wheels and tires from tire rack and have them mount and balance them. Do you know if I buy the sensors from them too will they install them when they mount the tires?

Sure, we can do that for you. :)
gloster 07-06-2007, 09:06 AM Tom,
I went to your site the other day and didn't see winter wheel/tire packages up yet. I'd be glad to take a look and maybe order from you instead of TR. When will you be posting winter packages? Of course, it would be cool if your packages also had an option for the TPMS

We won't be posting winter setups on the website, but we can put together a package for you when ready. :)
gloster 07-06-2007, 12:08 PM What is your take on the whole winter RF versus winter NRF and what to do if you choose winter NRF?
tom @ eas 07-06-2007, 03:33 PM What is your take on the whole winter RF versus winter NRF and what to do if you choose winter NRF?
To be perfectly honest I don't have an answer to that since we are based in California. :)
TireRack seems to have lots of info on winter setups.
Beer Goggles 07-06-2007, 03:56 PM Do they make winter RFTs?
