Does anyone know of a list of dealer-installed options vs. factory-installed? Does it vary by dealer?

I'm going back and forth on several options for the 328xi i ordered, but they wouldn't let me change anything since it already has a VIN assigned (even though production hasn't started yet). I'm trying to find out what I might be able to have the dealer install after delivery.

The available accessories are online at bmwusa.com. You didn't say whether it's a coupe or sedan so here's the location of both.

There is also a new line of upgrades available from the Performance Parts catalog (released July 1st). Suspension, intake, exhaust, rims, strut brace, rotors, short shifter, shifter knob etc.

+1, my sentiments exactly. They only belong on cheap SUVs.

Hey I'm over here in Germany and the list of dealer installed "accessories" is much longer here than in the US. They even sell "M" parts (door sills, steering wheel, shifter, emergency break lever, and the M aluminum interior). We can get a TV tuner installed also. I think I'm gonna start with the M upgrades.
