Hi,
i've decided to swap in an s52 into my e30m3 so:
i'm selling a complete engine and tranny from my 1990 m3,it will come complete with the uncut wiring harness,maf,airfilter box ,ecu with a autothority chip,magnecor wires,all accessory items(ps/alt/a-c compressor w/c is off the car)prob. throw in the radiator,coolant reservoir and the stock downpipes-
the car has 174k miles on it but,the engine was totally rebuilt at 163K by the prev owner,it runs smooth-does NOT burn/leak oil/smoke.
engine has seen regular oil changes in the 7 yrs that i've owned it(synthetic oil only)and it has never been tracked or raced-car was mostly stored(basically,only put over 10k miles in the 7 yrs that i've owned the car),it has a smooth shifting tranny w/ redline fluids.
here what the rebuild consist off(have receipts of the rebuild):
goetze oe headgasket set
wis oe timing chain
wis oe timing chain tensioner(upgraded to the s50 hydraulic one)
gotze oe piston ring set
mahle piston set w/ rings
laso oil pump
wis oe oil pump chain
upper/lower oil pan gasket set
chain tensioner
chain tensioner lower
new cyl head bolts
connecting rod bearing set
slide rail
main crankshaft bearing set
valve lifter shims(intake/exhaust)
machined cylinderhead w/ 3 angle valve job and match port
it cost close to 5k (oct. 2000) on the rebuild w/ parts and labor.
what it would need now is just to have the valve cover powder coated and the tranny shifter seal replaced.
the motor is still in the car so you can hear it start,run and drive-will post and update my ad w/ some compression numbers w/c i know will be good.i'll probably start the removal anytime after the 4th of july holiday.

-i prefer a local sale and will assist the buyer in loading the whole pkg,i can even help deliver for some gas money w/in 50-100 miles of my area(21122).
