Hey guys, I bought a 1995 740i with a coolant leak that I cannot find. it seems to be toward the rear of the engine, almost looks like it is coming out of the transmission housing when it is up on the hoist. Any knowledge or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Also have a steering issue. Pump is full but wheel won't turn smooth. Whats up? I'm new to the bmw circuit. Hope I don't have a bad start. Thanks for the help

Very common problems. You need:
- new valley pan (probably)
- power steering hoses (probably)

Hey I really appreciate the help have you ran into this before? I was worried but I believe those are simple fixes. Can you elaborate anymore since I am completely new to the beemer. It has 140,000 miles I havemn't drove it but in a parking lot sice I had it delivered (knowing about the leak) and Now my mechanis told me he can't tell where it is coming from. I guess that is my main concern. The rest will come later.... I was doing some research and calls is this the galley pan you speak of? is it just a gasket? Thanks Aron
