My drive shaft id starting to make noise on pull out. I suspect the center bearing needs replaced along with the flex disc. The car is a 94 e34 540i. The problem is I cannot get it fixed in time before I need to drive to Chicago. The car will be parked for 3 weeks up there so i was hoping to get it serviced while I was on my work detail. Info on any shops in town other than the dealers would be very helpful. I could order the parts and have them delivered to my hotel. I'm staying right downtown on N. Michigan Avenue.

If your here for 3 weeks, you'd better try and get it out to somewhere in the suburbs as they will will be cheaper than trying to get it done downtown.

I use Euroquipe in St Charles. You can get there and back from downtown on the train to drop off/pickup.
