Hey all...
Here's an easy one: I need a turn signal unit for my 1977 320i, and I found a parts car that's a 1979. Will the part from the '79 work in my '77?

I read some other threads and should be able to put it in reeeeeel easy once I get it.

It should work. I don't see why it wouldn't. I haven't tried this myself. But the 77-79 shared the same stock up until 10/78 production. The ones after that have a different design.
