I bought the car from a dealer in Oklahoma who knew the prior owner(s). It was basically a weekend car and very well maintained/clean. It was a lux edition with modena interior. I swapped the interior for a black interior with vader seats. I dyed the door panel inserts blue to match the exterior and they turned out perfect with no signs of wear in over two years (daily driver).

I drive mostly highway miles to work each day and the car has been relatively carefree and completely reliable. With the Ground Control it handles like a dream. The car has been tracked a few times (I am an instructor) and autocrossed twice. The car has no creaks or any other problems. It has been a strong and carefree car. It is, quite honestly, one of the best M3's out there.

Asking $18,200 which includes a set of Mille Miglia 17" wheels with Blizzak LM-22 winter tires with nearly full tread. Might be willing to negotiate on the Kosei Wheels shown in a couple of the photos.

Jayhox

No. I switched back to black as shown in most of the photos. I still have the half black, half blue knob but have been using a ZHP knob for the last few months.

Man, I would buy this car in a heartbeat if my credit union would advance more than 130% of book.

Jayhox

Understood. But the car isn't "book" by any means. I know I am looking for a niche buyer. Hopefully I find one.

Oh, I didn't mean to insinuate that in any way. I couldn't care less what 'book' is on these cars, but unfortunately my bank does. (can't insert sad smiley - noob)

I'm definately your niche buyer just don't have the niche dough right now. I'm seriously considering selling one of my spare organs so if that goes through then you got yourself a buyer. (can't insert some kind of humorous smiley - this noob thing sucks)

Sweet car. Estoril and Black leather is a very rare color combo - one of my favorites. I had Estoril with dove gray, which looked nice, but it was a pain in the a$$ to keep looking new as the car got older. I like the CSL replicas on this car too. Good luck with your sale.

Sorry I missed it, does it come with the replica CSLs and the Koseis, or are you only including one set of wheels?

why does your car have a 95 nose panel?

The '96 M3 had the same front end as the '95. Changed in '97.

hey Patrick, quite a car you have there.

How often would you expect the coilovers need to be rebuilt?
Also, are you still on the stock clutch?

thanks!

Jayhox
09-23-2007, 07:07 PM
They should not have to be "rebuilt" as they have a lifetime warranty. I lower the setup and clean it out from time to time, but no "rebuild" is necessary. These only have about 35k mi on them and are in excellent condition.

It is still the stock clutch.

I have some extra room in my garage - and I might even return it to you when you get home. [ can't post smiles yet - arg]

Congrats man, that car is pretty much perfect as far as what I'm looking for. I'm curious about how those coilovers treat you for daily driving... Seems to be a popular upgrade on the E36.

Yes she is pretty much perfect, drives like new and as far as the coilovers go they ride nicer than my Koni/UUC setup on my ZHP; now I just have to find the time to drive her:(
