Hello,
Selling the 3:91 diff from my car.
Reason for selling: Tough on gas mileage. I get about the same gas mileage I did when I had the auto tranny in the car. I do tend to drive a bit more spirited now though... Anyways, i'm having a 3:23 LSD put in tomorrow and will have no use for the 3:91.
What I like about it: You can fly through your gears and the car pulls like crazy! From what others have said, I agree that it is the "poor man's" supercharger! Alot of fun, but my car is my daily driver and its just not practical for me. Would be great on the 1/4 mile!!
Specs: 1997 3:91 open diff out of a 328i. Has about 100,400 miles on it and still runs great. No issues period. Its also has a 4 bolt input flange. Should be a direct swap into most I6 BMWs.
Should be available by late tomorrow.
Asking price: 350 OBO. Not really sure what to ask for it...
