Hello guys, I found my problem of my 320i which has been sitting for a year. Theirs no power going into the main fuel pump in the gas tank. Anybody knows how to fix it. Since im 16 so I cant read the wiring diagram in repair manual book. So I have no clue, you guys can tell me where the wire is running exact location, so I can change it. It will cost me over $300.

did you bypass the fuel pump relay when you were testing for voltage @ the fuel pumps?

the fuel pump power wires run:
-from the fuse box
-thru the firewall (in that big wire bundle on the driver-side)
-then, it goes under the carpet (i think it runs near or on the transmission tunnel)
-and finally it's under the back seat where it feeds the intank pump & branches out to the main fuel pump.

there's not much to 'reading wiring diagrams...in the Haynes manual, you just follow the black lines. There's a much better one in the bmw320i.com library: http://bmw320i.com/library/PDFfiles/pdfindex.htm

I remember we did change the relay, and I have seen a wire, do you think the wire burned?
