hey all, im an e30 owner from rockhampton, queensland.

i was wondering where i go about getting stuff for the car in australia?? im after some decent looking 17" rims, lowering kits, and a mtech 2 body kit for starts.

the rims are proveing hard to find in a design i like, lowering shouldent be to much of a drama, and the body kits have me stumped.

anyone care to help me?

Welcome!

I can't help you with the e30 stuff but no doubt someone at http://eurocca.net/forums will be able to help.

Just don't go to the dealer and don't be afraid to import.

When it comes to e30s in Australia, you're best of going to a wreckers or watching ebay for that odd rare e30 part that occasionally comes up. But the sad fact is that if you want something enough, you'll have to look o/s and ship it in.

Like Jimbo said, head over to ECCA, there is a wealth of information and lots of people who can point you in the right direction when it comes to e30 stuff in Australia!

Good luck!

yeah no worries guys. im currently doing up an old lj torana, and its amazing how many chevy parts fit the old holden six. ive been getting heaps of stuff out of the us, so im not afraid to import stuff.

looks like i have to make some o/s contacts :D

although, im fairly handy with fibreglass and welders and, well, just about everything. most stuff i will be able to make myself.

cheers.

Im in NZ and there aint nuthing here in terms of parts for Bimmers apart from dealers .. and they are a rip off!

I import everything from overseas, Europe and USA - cheap, reliable, OE, and stuff you cant get here.

There is a Bimmer importer in Oz, search Ebay.com.au only under Australia and he will pop up, put in the search field "clear corner BMW" and Australia only.
Like JImbo said, dont be afraid to import!
