View Full Version : could I use a porter cable sander to polish?

I have a sander from PC random orbit

Could i stick on a cutting pad, and polish or would that be a bad idea? Should i go get a polisher, or If i can use this sander I have do you have any tips?

No, I don't think you can adjust the RPM's on it. 12,000 RPM's will burn through paint in about 10 seconds.
