Hello everyone, my drivers seats fabric is finaly ripped apart after 20 years of being a DD. so im in the need for a new seat and possibly something with a sportier feel cause im in need for that as i track the car alot.

what i have found so far are the regular sparco seats and sparco makes brakets for the e28 (im looking mainly at the torino and possibly a full buket seat) but im also interested on some details what other models fit ...

do e30 seats fit ? like the recaros ? possibly also what other seats from other cars are an option ?

anyone have had experience with specific seats they like or dislike ?

please let me know. im not looking to spend thousands but also dont wana invest in a bad product.

thanks !

Hello everyone, my drivers seats fabric is finaly ripped apart after 20 years of being a DD. so im in the need for a new seat and possibly something with a sportier feel cause im in need for that as i track the car alot. Why not just redo the fabric?

what i have found so far are the regular sparco seats and sparco makes brakets for the e28 (im looking mainly at the torino and possibly a full buket seat) but im also interested on some details what other models fit ... I think you can make everything work if you are willing to do some custom work like e30 seats...

do e30 seats fit ? like the recaros ? possibly also what other seats from other cars are an option ? You will need to make some adapter plates since location of the holes is a tad different. If you search ebay.com, there is a guy who sells them you can take a look down there. Nothing that you can't make yourself

anyone have had experience with specific seats they like or dislike ? A nlot of bucket Sparco/Recaro seats are non adjustable, keep that in mind

please let me know. im not looking to spend thousands but also dont wana invest in a bad product. If I was you, I'd pick up e28 sport seats (m5 style, they came in "is" version in USA as well) or even keep old seats and just redo the fabric.

thanks !

e30 seats fit with adapters easily, they are really comfy
the sport seats are sufficient for a track car, as thats what mine is.
the are more comfortable than comfort seats as well.
