A little of topic but still about cars. I am from Tulsa, Ok. and today the city is celebrating part of it's Centenial Year with the unveiling of a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere that was buried in front of City Hall in 1957. Take a look it is pretty cool.

They are going to uncover it at 7:00 tonight. I was just watching the news and they said it was a little rusted from water that seeped throughthe bottom of the time capsule. Boyd Coddington is here to make an assement of the condition. I think they could have asked someone local to do this but I am sure they wanted a face on it for publicity.

Cool, but I would think the car must be really rusted from that water.

I just saw it on the news and it is pretty much shot. What can you do Oklahoma weather runs havoc on things especially if you bury them in something that is not very well sealed.

Its not very hard to make a seal tight vault. I've seen vaults laid below the water table and they dont leak. Someone droped the ball on that.
