But who are you?

I was hoping to stay anonymous to protect the slow...

I appear to be in some type of nanny-mode on this forum, so I can't post a picture, a link, or even a smiley face, until they are convinced I'm not a spammer...

But anyway, I drive a white e90 325i, joined the club last June, and have been to all of the autocrosses since I believe. I run in Group "D" this year, where I seem to be taking a beating at the hands of a Mr. Russell, who I don't believe I've met yet. I recruited a buddy of mine to the autocrosses this year that also drives a white e90 just to confuse things further.

At the track day in March, I was camped out behind Carlos (Mini), and near Ken (red BMW so fast the bumpers must have flown off) if that helps any.

The options get switched on at 100 posts, IIRC. The easiest way to get there is pretend you're an Asian girl in her early 20s, and post a bunch of quick, three- to five-word ambiguous replies ending in " *~heehee!~* "

Oh, and welcome. :)

Mr. Russell? Way too much respect for him. Wait a minute, he just did me a big favor...... Mr. Russell is sand bagging so far. He likes to let his competition think that they have a chance.

The autocross committee will be reviewing footage of Mr Russel's runs as well as conducting a thorough inspection of his vehicle at the next tech inspection. I suspect we'll find a NOS bottle somewhere, as the times appear to be faster than what a "legal" stock M3 should do. :)

I'm in and having too much fun. This will be my 3rd one. It's well worth the drive up from the southside.

I wish someone else would show up for the slow A(ss) class.

The daughter should be back in time to catch the Aug autoX.:redspot

He doesn't own a BMW but he was going to join bmwcca just because he enjoys the Peachtree Chapters event so much and doesn't want to miss it. :stickoutt

I've talked him into staying away from SCCA autoX. BMWCCA is WAY more fun.

I will shoot you a PM tomorrow with his info. Thanks Bruce!

Now that you mention it, I think we did speak briefly once, but I had not put two and two together. I believe my shoe got a little close to your car one time while I was taping on my numbers... (haha)

That's right! One thing that ticks me off up there, or anywhere, is people snuggling their car right up beside another! I will point out this was NOT the case with Mr. Hagler though.
But, like when lined up for your group, etc... there is no need to park so close to the next car that you need to squeeze out of yours to get out of the car or make it that someone else has to do that, there is plenty of space! Make sure there is enough space between you and the next car to fully open your door without hitting anything. I think we are all passionate about our cars otherwise we wouldn't be there, and I'm sure none of us want to get dinged, especially by a fellow bimmer. :-)

Apparantly, you(or your car) has something they want to have rubbed of on them(....or their car). ;)
