my 79 had these gold anodized ribbed rocker panels that cover the rough part along the bottom of the body. the car also had gold baskets and a gold pinstripe. kind of neat. no sunroof too. ever seen or heard of the rockers?

That was part of the Sport Package on the 79's. I had them in silver.
