This thing is a beauty...some carbon fiber tastefully placed and powder coated rims as well as a painted front grill. Very nice.

Process on Paint:
Wash via Foamgun + Shmitt
Clay via Claymagic
SSR 2.5 via 6" Yellow LC on Rotary at 1800 RPM (Up to 3 times in places)
SSR 2.5 via 4" Orange LC on PC at 6
SSR 1 via 4" White LC on PC at 6
Pinnacle Souveran by hand

Wheels and glass was clayed then cleaned with AIO and sealed with SG

On to the pictures...

Hey hey hey! Bimmer forums, don't bring that Beautiful Benz here! Haha, jk, great job, I just got ahold of a pc for $100 on ebay, so I'll have to post some pics of that pretty soon. I actually thought about an E-class, and still am after my E90 purchase.

A multi step polish job can cost anywhere from 150 to 400 or so depending on your area and the detailer. Most of the time it is about 200-250.

What is SSR?

SSR stands for Super Swirl Remover and it is made by Poorboy's. The number denotes the strength with 1 being the lest abrasive, then there is 2, 2.5, and 3 which is the most abrasive. The whole line can be found at autogeek.net Personally I think there are better polishes out there, since this one dusts a little more than I like.

Beautiful! Makes me wish I had a garage... I'd have gotten my e39 in black instead of titanium silver if I didn't need to park outdoors.
