All I did was clearly say that I was looking for a guy that drive an M3 so I could get a race. That's it.

I'll race anyone that thinks that their car is superior. Straight line 1/4 mile of course. No rolls. If you want to run the corners I've got a friend that will race anyone throught the mountains if they think that they can handle it.

Saturday july 14th. First car is usually on course before 9:30, and we try to be out by 2. There are people watching the gate keeping people out who don't need to be there, but as long as you tell them you want to join the BMWCCA you should be alright.

Cool, so if you wanna play nice, the registration actually opens... 4 minutes ago. it fills up fast for non bmwcca members, but if you just want to show up, you can just show up and say hi, i'm hear and want to learn about bmwcca. it'll be fun.

Bring out your car. Mine is about as bad as it can get for a autocrosser. It weighs close to 4k pounds, it has less hp than your car, and it doesn't have a good suspension. It's still a lot of fun, so unless you're scared (:stickoutt seriously... i'm just messing with you. I don't think your car is shitty) you should come out and show us your stuff.

You need to get to know the guys here. The reason your thread got locked was beacause there is a section dedicated for street racing. Your thread went against the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you signed up. Even if you drove a BMW the thread should (and would) have been locked. Some of us have a bias for BMWs but this is a BMW forum. We love our cars (just like you do) and will defend them to the death (joke).

The proper thing to do is to introduce yourself. Show us some pictures of your car, and then ask whos some people are. Which we also have a thread for that as well (THe official who was it thread) Honestley there are quite a few people on here that would cream themselves over you car. I happen to not be one of them. But there are a lot of BMWs out there that I do not care for as well.

And lastley, there are quite a few people on the forum that do NOT own BMWs. 240sx, supra, trucks, volvos, VW, Honda, Lexus, Porsche, ferrari, etc...

My bottom line is, I don't give a crap about what you drive or your ability to smoke M3s. My problem is I don't want to be on the street, in your way, the next time you decide to crank it up and show the locals how much speed you got....Sure as hell you'd take out some innocent bystander in your tire-blistering speed run, and I'd rather it not be me or somebody I care about.

So, if you really have the jones for drag racing, why not go take it to the strip and do it right and do it safe?

I'm one of those who loves muscle cars, old muscle cars in particular. I don't care if it's GM, Ford, or Mopar you can't beat a muscle car just for the testosterone factor. True muscle cars though are all pre-80s and they don't require nitrous as a crutch. Superchargers are fine, so are turbos, but a bottle no thanks.
