View Full Version : 1996 M3 Dinan Supercharged 5sp coupe $12k
Zexel1 06-14-2007, 12:47 PM 1996 BMW M3 Dinan Supercharged 5sp coupe, Southern car not driven in northern winters. 107k miles. Red with very unique factory two tone leather (black and tan). Dinan Vortech (not the unreliable Powerdyne supercharger on the earlier Dinan cars) installed at 75k miles at Momentum BMW in Texas. (I have receipts), Swaybars, Dinan exhaust, passed emissions when tested last year.
Problems: window switches must be held in the express positions to go up, moon roof is sticking – I don’t use it, minor oil spots where parked.
$12,000
Located south of Cleveland OH
I can you pick up at CLE.

BMW individual began in 91, and was introduced to the US in 06, offering options on the 7-series. So unless this car's grey market, it's not an "individual". The only two-tone E36 seats I've seen are the cloth/alcantara combos, never black & tan leather... sounds like somebody recovered the seats to me. :dunno

The seats look factory to me and are in good condition.

Zexel1 06-22-2007, 11:24 AM The hood looks really bad in the picture. It is not discolored at all, except maybe a few touched chips the size of a BB.
95///M3 06-22-2007, 11:37 AM Sorry to have to post this here. For those who say BMW Individual has not been available here until more recently. You are wrong. Dead fucking wrong. Your misleading information is terrible. If you don't know the facts, don't post, please.
What is the VIN, ill run it to see if this is indeed an Individual car. If it is, the value automatically is worth more.

G95M3 07-10-2007, 12:12 AM Pics are in the photobucket link that the seller posted above.
The interior is regular Modena that someone dyed the bolsters (look at the bottoms of the headrests).
It has 1995 Motorsport wheels on it.
And Individual has never been availble in the US, but when cars are special ordered in non standard colors (which rarely happens anymore) they get an "Individual" tag under the hood with the paint color, not a real Individual like they have in Europe but still worth more because it is rare and it cost $3k for the paint.

This is BS. The seats are flawless. The bottoms of the headrests are tan because the back of them is tan. I removed one from the seat and is very obvious that is how it is supposed to be due to the locations of the seams.
Internet talk(text) is cheap....................
Come see the interior -- it is factory.
danny535xi 07-24-2007, 05:43 AM I am a longtime reader of the forums but never posted. After seeing this, i felt i had to say something.
I drove from Maryland to go check this M3 out and all I have to say is, you get what you pay for.
I thought at the price, it was a steal...
Anyone going to inspect it, note the following:
-Passenger side fender is clearly repainted. You can see the overspray
-Hood seems repainted. When lifted, look near the rear corners
-Supercharger is much louder than i would have expected, but what would i know. I have only had NA cars, then my TT 535xi...no sc experience
-Whenever i launched, changed gears, or let off the accelerator, i felt a light bog (diff??)
-Clutch slipping when accelerating/shifting hard. (With an SC, future buyer should probably upgrade the clutch)
anyone else go to see this car and notice this?
still very cheap and the seller seems like a great person...good luck with sale
danny535xi 07-24-2007, 05:45 AM Also, the cruise control was not functioning, and the sunroof did not work.
and the interior is beautiful. I believe the black part seemed dyed. The modena seemed more original. Underneath some cracks of the black, i saw small traced of Modena

Nobody has test driven/looked at this car yet. Don't know what this guys problem is. I speculate he is G95M3 from above. Anything written on the web must be questioned. (especially from new forum members) So question what I am writing and call me to get a feel for the truth and then come see and drive the car.
Other notes: The car has a brand name short shift kit (I forget the name- but have receipt). The computer says "Tail light failure" when the lights are on, but all the lights work.
Gunslinger 07-24-2007, 05:08 PM What does "TEILLEDER W.N./MODENA (N5AY)" mean?
Partial leather; Modena (the tan color)

Why would I go out of my way to do that? With my original (and only) post I was simply trying to help the others on the board who had questions about the cars authenticity. You were misleading in your advertising and claimed it to be something it is not.
Not to mention I have been a part of this community five years longer than you have. So I have absolutely nothing to prove by entering into some sort of vendetta with you.
