OK, the battle continues. I am in need of new tires for my new '98 M3/4. I think I am going with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position but have also thought about the Michelin Pilot Sport. Any thoughts or opinions??? Any other tires that perform as well that are as quite?
Thanks

I got the S-03s. I love em =)
If I were in the market for new tires right now I would most definitely look into replacing my Michelin Pilot Sports with grippier dry traction tires, such as the Bridgestone SO3's. They are said to to create more road noise, but to me that would be a very small sacrifice to make for better performing tires.

I just got the Yokohama ES100's today, I'll update on how they turn out. I read all good reviews on them so we'll see. I had AVS Sports on, I hope the 100's are better:95

S03's. Had them both (Pilot Sports and Pole Position S03s). Equal in the dry, S03's in the wet. Quieter and wear is about the same. I've heard complaints that they are heavier, but I can feel what is probably a pound diference in unsprung weight when I'm driving.

You can read a tire test we did with the two tires on our web site. In driving them both back to back I like the S03.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
