Well, I am finally going to upgrade my stereo head unit and have decided on the Tokyo. I was going to buy it from crutchfield and was almost through the process when they said I needed to buy some kind of adapter, Soundgate PWR1, for the level inputs/outputs. Is this necessary? BTW, I have the HK system.
Any help is much appreciated.

What year is your car? New cars don't use floating grounds, so you don't need that.
*EDIT* now this is old!

Obviously. But depending on the year of the car, 99% of the cars out now do not have floating grounds. I have the same deck.
