I took out my gauge cluster to put in some different gauge rings and when I put it back together my interior lights had stopped working. Well not all of them, but all the ones that light up when you turn the headlights on. The gauges, head unit, HVAC controls, window switches, seat memory switches and even the little overhead lights that illuminate the shift area are out.
Anyone have any ideas? I pulled the dash back apart and all the connections are correct and the fuses in the glove box are OK too. Could it be the headlight switch or the dimmer? :help

Wow it can be a bunch of things. Yank it back out and make sure the main connector/connectors on the back are seated firmly. worst case scenario, you pulled off a solder connection on the main circuit board and thats a wrap!
Look carefully if there are any severed connections and also look at the thin ribbon cables too

BUMP! All the connections look fine and it's a pain in the ass to drive at night with no gauges.

Dimmer switch. Or severed wire while yanking out cluster. Worst case scenario is surface fuse on cluster circuit board. then your SOL.

I was wondering if anyone was going to mention the dimmer. I wasn't. The OP said he checked everything so I figured that couldn't be it.:D
I don't know which is scarier, the avatar pic or the wheel. Doesn't the flower stem make alot of noise when driving.:rofl:

Lol the flower thing was put on their since everyone keeps saying my rims look like tulips or some other gay flower lol. Im getting new rims next week but till then Im keeping the sig pic as is. Its loud, obnoxious and just plain gay. Soon Im going to start drawing stuff on Dans car. he's the one who started it.
As for the avatar.....very VERY random. Im not that creative.
