I called bmw dealer and they said there are only 9 city light sockets in the country. Where did you guys get yours from? i read that one person used the side marker sockets but will this work?

what are city sockets?

all i know is there is a space above the high beams in the stock headlight housings for city lights, apart from that, i'm not sure where you would get the bulb socket for them.

Yeah they are like parking lights. its like a half moon on the top half of the high beam. didnt know the 5's had them.

highly doubtful, but possible. some parts aren't stocked in large quantity, if you get me a part # i can check whats available and who has it.
