I am selling my 2002 540i 6-speed. It is Sterling Gray Metallic with a black leather interior. It has ~64k miles.
Options it is equipped with:
-Nav
-Cold weather package
-Xenon lights
-Park distance control
-DSP Stereo
Extras it currently has:
-Heavy duty rubber floormats
-StealthOne--If you are not familiar with this, it is a FANTASTIC product. It allows the Valentine One radar detector arrows and "bogey count" indicator to be integrated into the dashboard or the nav screen display. Installation was a b*tch, so I am leaving it in the car. However, I am taking the V1 with me.
-Ice>Link plus--This allows for direct integration of an ipod into the factory sound system. The song/artist info can be displayed on either the nav screen or the dashboard display. The ipod can be controlled through the steering wheel stereo control buttons.
-Upgraded, dvd-based nav system--the car originally came with a cd-based nav system which required cd's to be switched as you moved to different geographical locations. This upgraded, dvd-based system eliminates that annoying requirement.
-Goodyear Eagle F1 GS/D3s--Great tires which I got last fall. They still have plenty of life left.
The car is in very good condition. It does have a few minor scratches (all of which were there when I bought it almost 2 years ago). It has been well cared-for since I've owned it. I keep it in a garage and I wash/wax it regularly. It runs perfectly well. It's an absolutely phenomenal engine which pulls strong in any gear, at any speed.
I am selling it because it simply is not comfortable for me. I'm 6'5", and the seating position becomes really uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
I am asking $21,500.
I will post pictures in the next day or so. In the meantime, please PM me with any questions/concerns/offers. I am interested in a quick sale, so if you're interested please let me know. If I don't get any interest I'll just be trading it for my new car, but I thought I'd try here first.
