View Full Version : windows wont go down on my 528e Briggs248 06-11-2007, 12:16 PM the fuse looked fine but i replaced it under the hood. But the windows and sunroof wont open. Any ideas? sixernick 06-12-2007, 12:56 AM Check the relay and jump pins 30 and 87 this should make the windows work, but based on experience from an old beater 5 I had that did not work. Vin Diesel 06-12-2007, 01:08 AM how exactly do you jump pins? wouldnt you need extra wiring to use as a medium so you can touch the wires when the relay is plugged in? theseeker411 06-12-2007, 01:31 AM Small piece of wire that you have lying around, or maybe even a paper clip should do the trick. Vin Diesel 06-12-2007, 01:54 AM but like what exactly do you touch? do you pull the relay a little up and then touch the pins? theseeker411 06-12-2007, 04:22 AM I might have this wrong since it's been a while since I did it, but the relays should have markings on top that denote the numbers of the terminals. Pull out the relay. Simply put a small piece of wire from one terminal to the other, then see if the windows work. If they do, then you know the relay is bad. Briggs248 06-12-2007, 11:10 AM where is this relay?
