DSagan 07-12-2007, 04:00 PM I'm very interested in your M3. Just bought an E30 325e with the intention of souping it up but the lure of better looking e36 has gotten the better of me. :)
Is there any way you could post some motor and OBC pictures?
If you'd rather you can email pics to: dsagan12 @ gmail.com <- take out the spaces.
Thanks so much and hopefully we'll be speaking soon.
DSagan 07-12-2007, 04:07 PM Bump - trying to get the post count up.
Nsaigh 07-13-2007, 01:25 AM Any chance it doesn't have a sunroof?
PettitWC 07-13-2007, 01:52 AM Any chance it doesn't have a sunroof?
it doesn't look like it does in the pictures
BMWDustin 07-13-2007, 02:03 PM interested as well. Sunroof? condition of tires?
Bmw M3 Guy 07-13-2007, 02:13 PM not a bad deal
joiem3 07-13-2007, 03:02 PM The M3 has a sunroof. Tires would probably need to be replaced in 5-10k.

DSagan 07-15-2007, 10:00 PM Dibs due to the cash in hand and the plane tickets already booked (non refundable) for Friday 7/20 to drive the car back down to TX after pickup.
Based on the original posters history he sounds like a stand up guy and would have given us some hint of impropriety before now.
Looking forward to the end of this work week for sure now. :)
M3zie 07-15-2007, 11:10 PM Wow thats a lot of miles but the car looks pretty clean.

joiem3 09-25-2007, 11:55 AM In response to Max5's posting, the individual supposedly flying from Houston backed out due to a project and work and opted to purchase a car locally. Be advised that the car now has 189k on the odo. The car has minor surface rust. I am replacing the rear shocks and rsm's this weekend. The PO installed a new vanos unit but still has the vanos noise. I was informed by Ben Thongsai from Windy City BMWCCA that the vanos noise does not in any way impair the car's mechanical performance but if the noise annoys me I would need to replace the vanos gears to make it quiet. The car has a few door dings and is not by any way your garage queen at the suggested price point and mileage. This vehicle is a 42 year old summer daily driver. The steering wheel has a tear on the leather. There's the skinny on the car.
Let me know.

Damn, the e36 has been around for a LONG time! :D
J/K, looks like a good price for the car.
O 16581 72452 5 09-26-2007, 03:56 PM PM'd, pretty interested.
v12spd 09-26-2007, 08:59 PM Not trying to thread bash, just informing prospective buyers. It's worth the money hes asking and has great potential, BUT...
Driven the car. Clutch needs to be bled or replaced. Those pics are NOT accurate of its wear, it looks a lot better in the pictures than in real life, the odometer picture was probably taken well after the others. Trunk vin doesnt match rest of body panels. Sunroof doesnt close properly and makes loud snapping noise when closed. Cooling system will need work soon, vanos noise is quite loud as he said. Some interior trim pieces are missing, but rest of leather is in good condition. RSM's will need to be replaced soon, if not additional suspension components. Rust on three rear panels on drivers side, also including lower half
of trunk lip and door sills. Passenger side window regulator failing/struggling to get window up. Damage on front bumper. Scratches and deep gouges in rear bumper. Needs new seals on doors/sunroof.
Beyond those issues, this is a steal. Wish I had the money to take it away from him.
O 16581 72452 5 09-27-2007, 04:05 PM Good looking out, thanks.
bimmaman/// 09-27-2007, 04:16 PM you guys think this is a good deale i can find tons of cars for you guys at that price.
joiem3 09-28-2007, 04:47 PM Car is sold, the noise on the sunroof was resolved by good old WD-40.
