I dont know the name of it just a few details.

It is a spray on wax but it foamed up, then you just wiped off. It was in a white aresol can with maybe a race car on it. The can was $50 and it was the best spray on wax I ever used. 1 can would last me like 3 months.

I've been reading and searching online and haven't gotten any luck finding it. My ex use to give me some cans but I no longer talk to him.

If anyone have any ideas it would be appreciated.

Are you sure it wasn't a rinseless wash and wax? I know Turtle Wax makes Foam Away (http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,4,21) which waxes as well.

yes that is what it was rinse less wash and wax but not that brand.

I remember he showed me how to use it in a Kroger parking lot. With just a paper towel.

With just a paper towel.
:eek::eek::eek:

If convenience is what you want, $50 will buy you plenty of "wax as you dry" products and microfiber towels.

The only part of my car that I'll wipe with paper towels is my windshield.

They do that at my local shell gas station every once in a while. Always a semi-pretty girl and some dude showing everyone how cool it is. I feel bad for the paint on the cars when they demonstrate the magical goodness!

Just to add.. The price of a product does not mean it is better. The turtle wax stuff listed may work just as well if not better.

Alot of motorcycle shops carry aerosol can wax that is designed for this waterless wash and the stuff works great.. ust remember the towels you use and the amount of dirt on your car in the beginning will determine haw safe and productive the product will be.

Some guy was at my local ARCO last week selling this aerosol stuff that was obviously a similar snake oil to what you're talking about.

I listened to his presentation only out of curiousity, but at something like $40 (even though replacements are cheaper), there's no way I'd use it over my current Instant Detailer.

I think last week the same guy was selling gas additives that promised to make my hair grow fuller.

Oh, and I don't by ARCO, mind you, but I was curious enough to stop in.

B3m3rChic,
Could you use a little human engineering to find out the exact brand?
If you don't talk to your ex anymore, do you know anyone who might still keep in touch? Maybe they could casually ask the ex what the product was, not ever mentioning your name of course.
How about the store he bought it from? Could you go to the store and grill the clerk that looks like he/she's been working there a long time?
I've drawn a blank on your product, but there's something lurking way back in my brain that resonates a bit with the white bottle with the sports car on it. I'll keep thinking,
