I'm selling the LSD diff out of my 93 318is due to an accident that occurred earlier this month. The car came factory with this LSD which is a 3.45 and has no rumbling/vibrations/or problems. The car was meticulously maintained and I am selling the entire rear end with hubs and brand spanking new wheels bearings already pressed into the hub.

I had just installed two brand new bearings the day before this accident so I guess my loss is a buyers gain. The LSD is in excellent shape and its coming out a 170k car but drove like it was brand new.

I've seen these go anywhere from $300 to $850 with no hub/control arm/and wheel bearings. I also know that according to my junk yard database there are only 9 available in the country so this would probably make a cool little mod.

I took the tag off to try and polish it up, but you really can't read shit off of it. I'll get you the rest of the info tomorrow. I gotta take a look at the setup.

And Black, I was trying to figure out the answers to your questions. I know the car has LSD because I ran the vin # at the dealer and they told me it did. Also both wheels spin at once. I'm currently in CA on business and can't really get under the car to look so if you are still interested in a week or so, I'll get back to you. 318's with winter packages came with LSD.

the LSD is GREAT for 318's. Amazing how much better it handled. Good luck with sale.

Btw- the 3.45 LSD comes from a Cold weather package 318. I think you could olny get one in an obd1 318

I have a 96 318. The only factory options installed were heated seats and the 3.45 lsd.

I'm going to race the car next year in NASA GTS and this complete rear end would probably end up being a lifesaver at some point. If you're willing to hold it for a while I could figure out how to get it to Chicago. PM me.

Could you post pictures of what you've got for sale? Are the semi trailing arms and 1/2 shafts included. It was hard to tell from the post.

Haven't pulled the diff off yet due to lack of time and laziness. It will be off on Saturday. The half shafts and trailing arms are included. Its the entire rear end all the way down to the hubs and bearings.
