When I dry my towels on low heat, they come out with a static charge. Is this normal? Anyway to stop this from happening or to remove the charge after they have dried?
This has happened to me for a while, and I just remembered to ask. :)
TIA

Avoid using any kind of fabric softener as they tend to diminish the absorbing qualities of the towels. You may be overdrying, reduce the time in dryer. Static is apparent in low humidity conditions, and the synthetics that make up microfibre towels are prone to static. Not a lot you can or should do.

Pile them together and put a small test-light on them. :laugh

Ok, I kid...maybe like vinyl records, if you shake them, the static will disappear.
Maybe use a Zerostat gun. lol
I might try that myself if I have this trouble since I have one.

Ok, thanks for the replies, I will try reducing the drying time and also shaking them!
