Will the Active Autowerks CAIS for a 1995 M3 with 3.5" HFM fit an S50B32 that I am going to swap into my 99 M3? Are any modifications required? Here is the link.

All the aftermarket US intakes aren't fully compatible with the euro engines. However, they can be made to fit with some minor mods. I have a custom euro specific Dinan style intake (real clean with custom heatshield & k&n filter) for sale if you're interested. PM for pics & more info. I went with a carbon airbox :buttrock & no longer need the intake.

Post those pics AJ!

Any intake made for a Euro HFM kit will fit (Dinan, Conforti, ECIS, AA) just not as well as they do on US motors. They will flex the coupling on rubber elbow after the HFM closer towards the shock tower. Not a big deal, just a compromise we have to live with.:shifty
