One of my headlights is a little foggy and I want to get rid of that. I have heard of a sanding/polishing process but I dont know where one would take their headlight to in order to sand/polish them out. Anyone know?
I also believe that this process is done to glass headlights, correct? Can this be done to a set of headlights with a plastic lens? Mine are plastic and now I suppose I regret not going with the euro lights for my car. I guess we live and learn through mistakes.
If anyone has any tips on products and process, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

what happens if it feels smooth on the outside of the lens and the fogginess seems to be coming from the inner side of the lens?

If you can remove the lens to clean the inside, then do so. If the lens is permanently attached to the headlight assembly, then you'll either have to live with the haze or buy a new headlight.

If the haze is on the inside, most likely their is water getting into the headlight. Like stated above, if you can open it you can clean it out, otherwise.. buying a new one is your only choice.

it is probably on the out side
follow what i said in that thread, and if you have access to a pc or rotary, go at the headlight with that too until the polish breaks down.
it's very cheap and easy to do.

If you posted pics then you would prolly get more advice. But if you follow the steps in the thread you posted then it will answer the question for you.

Mothers PowerBall on a drill with Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish works wonders.
