Hehe. Don't take what I say too seriously. I just have no incentive whatsoever to make it to a meet that's call an "///M3 meet." Elitism just doesn't pander to me. I know you say in a post that you didn't organize it, so you shouldn't take offense to my comment. I just don't like that attitude, and don't care to show up if the event organizers are going to have that type of attitude. It's too bad, too....since I was thinking about picking up some sway bars next time I was in your area. Oh well, maybe next time. SmellyGreek 06-08-2007, 07:17 PM I'll be there.....hopefully there will be a good turnout of E36s. It might be a little elitist to be ///M cars only, but its the organizer's prerogative. If you don't like it, then IMHO you should organize a meet of your own that is more inclusive, not whine about it (like a certain someone on the M3forum board did). Anyway, my sister's graduation celebration is in Newburyport tomorrow, so I'll probably just spend the night there and get up early, detail the car and drive there. djmatty 06-08-2007, 07:18 PM I'll be there.....hopefully there will be a good turnout of E36s. I just have no incentive whatsoever to make it to a meet that's call an "///M3 meet." Elitism just doesn't pander to me. Should I take this seriously? Because it seems like a pretty serious accusation. I don't think "elitism"was the intent at all! Someone put a meet together for a certain model of car, that's all. I know you say in a post that you didn't organize it, so you shouldn't take offense to my comment. Good, because I never did. If you scroll up, I just made a funny remark in return to someone telling Turner to go screw. No offense taken but I appreciate your concern. I just don't like that attitude, and don't care to show up if the event organizers are going to have that type of attitude. Where and when was this attitude you speak of? I personally have yet to see it. Maybe I missed something in another thread? It's too bad, too....since I was thinking about picking up some sway bars next time I was in your area. If we were to have a show like Bav Auto's show and shine for example, the cops would shut us down for having a line of cars out in the public roads, it just wouldn't work, this is why a model-specific meet makes sense for us to host, it is the only way it could work.
