ya, i contacted the meet organizer about my cousin's m6 and it seems that the opened up to all M cars..he said its in the M family, of course he can come

Regarding the negative comment as well, we are just providing the venue. We are providing the parking lot, door prizes and that is it. The event was not thought of, organzied, sanctioned, overlooked, approved, dissaproved or authorized by Turner Motorsport. We were asked by the organizer if it could be held here and we said "sure!" I may add, the coolest thing about it is that 95% of our employees elected to come work the event even though it is a Sunday and they are not getting paid for their time. The other 5% had prior obligations.

I just have no incentive whatsoever to make it to a meet that's call an "///M3 meet." Elitism just doesn't pander to me. I know you say in a post that you didn't organize it, so you shouldn't take offense to my comment. I just don't like that attitude, and don't care to show up if the event organizers are going to have that type of attitude.

It's too bad, too....since I was thinking about picking up some sway bars next time I was in your area. Oh well, maybe next time.

Should I take this seriously? Because it seems like a pretty serious accusation. I don't think "elitism"was the intent at all! Someone put a meet together for a certain model of car, that's all. The organizer likes M3's and wanted to have a M3 gathering, it is really as simple as that.

Guys, we have 70 parking spots, tops. If we were to have a show like Bav Auto's show and shine for example, the cops would shut us down for having a line of cars out in the public roads, it just wouldn't work, this is why a model-specific meet makes sense for us to host, it is the only way it could work.

Im sure the non m cars can still show up just not be in the show. Just park maybe in a corner or something? I guarantee there will be other non m cars and probably non bmw cars. My friend may go in his e30 325 just to go to the event and see the cars, im sure thats not a problem.

I ended up getting banned from M3 forum because of this meet. Even though I have an M3 many of my friends who I attend meets with do not own M3s.
Many people at last weeks Colt State Park meet were very disappointed that they would not be allowed to join the meet like so many other members of these BMW based forums. Unfortuneately they are not happy with the organizer or BMW tuner / shop for allowing them to be discriminated against based on the fact they can't afford an M3. Makes me ashamed to own an M3.

i understand how you would want to say NON M's can not attend BUT... i think there should be an exception if thats how your gunna do it. My car is Built NOT bought. which means i've got more money into it then most of you when you opend your wallett to buy you your M. just cuz my vin does not start with wbsb dosnt mean i dont have a nicer car than some of you M owners.

Let me just say first that I am looking forward to tomorrow. I hadn't known of this thread until today, had no idea of the TMS boycott being organized, any of the grief Elie was going through or any of the hard feelings some of our customers were feeling. The same thing came up in Bimmerforums so my same reply applies...

If we offended anyone by hosting this event it was completely unintentional and unexpected. We were planning to have similar events in the future for other BMW models and this was a perfect way for us to test the waters since we didn't have to be completely involved in the organization part of it. After what we have seen here however, we may be forced to reconsider.
