no problem.
anchman 06-06-2007, 02:33 PM Looks like you forgot to post an asking price for the euro oil cooler. How much are you looking to get for it? Also, were you able to use the oil cooler with the S52 oil filter housing that you're selling?
In other words, are there connection ports for oil cooler lines on the S52 oil filter housing that's also for sale in this thread? If not, how did you hook up the oil cooler (or did you)?
Thanks in advance.

A s52 oil filter housing does not have the ports needed to hook up this heat exchanger(cooler). You can use either a euro s50b32 oil filter housing or a e46 m3 oil filter housing.

Thanks Jean-Claude. I know that US S52 oil filter housings don't have oil line ports. However, given that SG_M3 is selling an oil cooler and an S52 oil filter housing at the same time, it wasn't unreasonable to ask whether he's had his S52 oil filter housing modified to be able to connect to oil cooler lines.
So I'd still appreciate if SG_M3 could still reply to my question. Thanks

No doubt. I used to sometimes wonder if it could be made to work. Until I searched and found out it simply can not work. :stickoutt
Now you know too! :cool

Jean-Claude is correct, they can't be used together in stock form. You can mod the s52 housing by drill and then brazing AN fittings on to it.
Price listed for the cooler.

Are you sure about that? I don't think a s52 housing has the means to have a pressurized side(feed side) and a non-pressurized side(return side).

I sit corrected. :stickoutt Only difference between his modified housing and a e46 m3 or euro housing is the built in thermostat.
With that said. I am waiting to hear back from a buddie to see how much he can get me a new one for. If it's notably more than yours, I will buy yours from you. ;)
