Hey I was wondering if you guys could help me out on somthing here. Eveytime i step on the gas it seems to hesitate and bog out. Feed me a response if you know what could cause this.

Sounds like it could be bad catalytic converters. Does your 535i also run hot?

I would say there's a 75% chance that you have bad cats. If you replace them, be sure to try some high-flow cats.

Check and clean your AFM and IACV. Check for leaks in the first intake hose and airbox.

Could cats cause the motor to kinda miss, but not miss like a bad coil pack?


Could also be the coil or coils.. I know on M50's after they have some miles on them the coils will cause the car to hesitate at stop lights and such. Both of mine had the problem. One still does...
