Here's the deal: I just picked up this car not too long ago after driving a 3 for five years. It's a great car in fantastic shape, but it's just not for me - I'm too used to the smaller car.

I just took the car in for its last "free" service. Oil service, coolant (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209320#) flush, and am having the infamous creaking windows problem fixed with the redesigned guide rails next week. After that, it will have no flaws.

I just detailed it using clay bar and Klasse products, paint is in excellent condition.

Is this something done by the dealer? How much does it cost?

yes I had it done by the dealer before the full warranty expired and the car flipped to CPO. They replaced all four guide rails on the top of the doors and now it's silent and vault-like in there. Not a peep over bumps.
