Hi just wondering if there are any official BMW dealership techs on this forum in Sydney, I was very interested in Moving to Australia and wanted to know if there was a demand for certified techs and if there was a great deal of business thanks

Well I'm not in Sydney but I can take a guess here.

Demand for certified techs: definately

Great deal of business: definately not

Come to Brisbane and start an independant shop. There are only about 3 indy's I can think of and 2 dealers.

In regards to Sydney, there's a couple, but they're not close to inner Sydney (Hornsby, Parramatta etc). There's a demand for guys in you're area, and with business, not so sure. If you set up a shop inner Sydney, you might generate a bit of business, as there's $tealerships everywhere and the indy shops are few and far in between.
