The problem you run into with deep stains is when you get the deep stuff wet but don't extract it completely, it tends to seep to the surface during the drying process, this is known as wicking.
Deep stains will likely require several attempts over an extended period.
What are the stains from? Everyday soils or coffe spills or what?

Try Meguiar's Quick Out. I have had amazing success with this on some rather disturbing stains.

this is something that has always worked for me on bad stains . spray the area with the cleaner u have . then grab a spoon and scrape the area toward yourself using the part of the spoon thats curved toward u . then use the round part to work the area and then turn the spoon and scrape again . it will not hurt the carpet but it will remove hardcore stains

Just posted on the other thread, But i used a generic multipurpose cleaner called "spic and span" its orange in color, and scrubbed the hell outta my carpet had a bad oil stain. came right up. OXYClean does wonders as well as resolve is pretty good. all cost less then $5 at Walmart/Kmart or even a grocery store
