can anyone explain the difference in performance/flow with this airbox vs other airboxes which incorporate the stock trumpets? are they worth the extra $$$? also, does anyone rec any other airbox?

do you think there is much HP gain from stock intake to this carbon fiber beast ?

My friend has it on their E30 M3 with the S14 engine. I would say, the best improvement I noticed from it, apart from the awesome sound...is the way it does not absorb heat at all! After a few hot laps, you can still lay your hand on the CF intake...and it would still be cool to the touch!

ITs awesome...if I had the money now, and if I can open my ECU, I would get this ina heartbeat!

Question for the ones who have it already....If i just wanted the intake assembly, without going alpha-n...would I still be able to mount the MAF?
